Bahia just to start

View from Morro do Pai Inácio  - Chapada Diamantina/Bahia
One of my favorites Brazilian States is Bahia.
The variety of beauties, beaches, culture and food fill the eyes and the soul of good things.
I've been to Salvador, Itaparica Island, Morro de São Paulo, Itacaré, Ilhéus, Chapada Diamantina and other incredible places.
If you want to try different types of spices, fish, flours, fruits and juices it will be the right State to start visiting Brazil.

Salvador
Some places to visit: Pelourinho, Modelo Market, Elevator Lacerda (to Upper Town) and beaches (Farol da Barra, Rio Vermelho, Itapoã)

Itaparica Island
Book a tour during one day, go by boat and just relax enjoying the view

Morro de São Paulo
You can book a tour during one day but it's better to stay more days and visit all the five beaches

Itacaré
Practice stand-up paddle, visit the beaches (Prainha, Itacarezinho, Havaizinho), eat "tapioca" and buy local handicraft

Ilhéus
Visit the beaches, downtown city, the Bataclan Café and Jorge Amado House of Culture Museum (Jorge Amado was a Brazilian writer and his work has been translated into 49 languages and popularized in the movie Dona Flor and Her Two Husbands)

Chapada Diamantina
You can visit the Chapada Diamantina National Park and see many caves, mountains and waterfalls like Gruta Azul, Gruta da Pratinha, Cachoeira do Buracão and Morro do Pai Inácio
